MYSCOUTING

Calling All Filmmakers!
The Northeast Illinois Council is looking for the best recruiting video that we can use in the fall of 2009 to promote Scouting.  Make a short video (1-3 minutes long) about Scouting, and you might win!  We will be awarding a first place, second place, and third place prize to the best entry in each of our three levels of Scouting (Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venturing) and a grand prize of a ThunderBolt Storm Detector to the unit whose leader submits the best entry.  Winning videos will be posted on the NEIC website and YouTube!  Videos will also be used in our recruiting efforts to help recruit more youth into Scouting! All Scouts are welcome to enter with an individual entry. Rules and contest details are available at www.joinneicscouts.org. The contest begins June 1st and all entries must be submitted by July 31st. Please share this message with all your Scouting families and adult leaders.
