Youth Leadership Breakfast

Save the Date for the 2025 Youth Leadership Breakfast, an inspiring event that brings together community members in support of Scouting America, Northeast Illinois Council.

Location: Lambs Farm Magnolia Cafe and Bakery Rt 176 & I-94 Libertyville, IL 60048

This annual event recognizes outstanding individuals or organizations who have positively shaped the lives of youth and advanced the mission of Scouting. A highlight of the morning will be the presentation of the Whitney M. Young Jr. Award, honoring individuals or organizations who have advocated for diversity, equity, and inclusion in Scouting and in their communities. 

Proceeds from the breakfast directly support the council’s Discover Scouts Outreach Program, which ensures that all youth regardless of financial difficulties has the opportunity to participate in Scouting.

Scouting Golf Classic

Mark your calendars! The 2025 Scouting Golf Classic will take place on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

Good Scout Dinner

The Good Scout Award has been presented annually since 1970. The award recognizes community leaders who embody the Scout Oath and Law and support the Northeast Illinois Council. Our 54th annual Good Scout Dinner was held October 30, 2024, honoring S. Michael Rummel.
