At our Build-a-Car Workshop, experienced adult woodworkers provide tools, safety equipment, and hands-on assistance to help Scouts turn their kit block into a race-ready car to use at their pack’s Derby.

Pinewood Derby Race Days At the Kasperson Center in vernon Hills
Reserve time on the council’s track for an in-person Pinewood Derby race at Kasperson Center for Scouting. A team of dedicated volunteers will run and livestream your pack’s race. Multiple dates and times are available, but spots fill quickly so register early!
