Friends of Scouting is the Northeast Illinois Council’s annual giving campaign that provides the vital funding needed to deliver quality Scouting programs. Gifts support local camps, training, leadership development, and financial assistance so every youth can experience Scouting.
There may be circumstances where a youth and his/her family needs a little help financially to take part in Scouting activities. To address this, our council has allocated part of its annual budget (funded through Friends of Scouting donations) to help.
Scouting America and our council wants you and your Scouts to be safe. Taking the proper precautions – including training and planning – will go a long way towards preventing injuries or illness. But we also understand that accidents can still happen despite the most thorough preparation.
