Don’t Miss the Adventure of a Lifetime
Scouting America’s National Jamboree is back in 2026, and the Northeast Illinois Council is proud to send a contingent of youths and adult leaders to this once-in-a-lifetime event. Join us for an unforgettable journey filled with adventure, camaraderie and personal growth.
About the Jamboree
The National Jamboree is a one-of-a-kind Scouting experience that brings together tens of thousands of youths, adult leaders and staff from across the nation.
It’s more than just camp. It’s a celebration of Scouting with all kinds of adventures—stadium shows, pioneer village, mountain hikes, adventure sports and more—in the heart of one of nature’s greatest playgrounds. With 10,000 acres at the Summit to explore, there’s no shortage of opportunities to build Scouting memories.
The National Jamboree is the best of Scouting rolled into 10 days of friends, fun and adventure! Join us at the Summit Bechtel Reserve from July 22–31, 2026. Our council’s trip includes one day before and after for travel (July 21–Aug. 1, 2026).
What’s Included?
The Jamboree cost is all-inclusive of travel to and from West Virginia, on-site Jamboree programming, food at the event, cot, tent, campsite equipment and contingent gear (duffel bag, backpack, hat, shirt, patches). Fundraising opportunities are available to help reduce participant costs. To secure your spot, a $200 deposit is due at the time of registration, with payments due as listed here.
In addition to 10 days at the Jamboree, the Northeast Illinois Council’s itinerary includes a travel day before and after the Jamboree: July 21–Aug. 1, 2026. We’ll visit the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force in Dayton, Ohio; stop overnight at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia; and go whitewater rafting on the New River.
Total Cost: $2,750
