Ron is an Eagle Scout, Army combat veteran, and former Apache helicopter pilot who was shot down and held as a POW for 23 days during the 2003 Iraq invasion before being rescued by U.S. Marines. He has since served as a CNN contributor, White House appointee, commercial pilot, and Amazing Race finalist, and now speaks nationally about courage, resilience, leadership, service and the power of character.
